Pete is a huge Floyd fan and his ability to reproduce the definitive bass lines with passion and commitment, forms the foundations of the Breathe sound. He is also an excellent guitarist and swaps the bass for an acoustic guitar in ‘Wish You Were Here’.

Peter Worley Bass Guitar Stranded here on planet Earth, it’s not much but it could be worse… Me: I was born on the Isle of Portland 26 th August 1973, we moved to Northampton in 1976 to a terraced house in town, close to The Racecourse. In 1991 we moved to Kingsthorpe, then when my parents moved out I moved in with my now wife of 7 years Cheryl. How can I be sure I’m here? Playing: It wasn’t until I was around the age of 15 that I even took an interest in music, I used to listen to Electro house until I discovered Faith No More! No more house music from that moment on, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, and weirdly Jean-Michel Jarre! The music of the future will not entertain it's only meant to repress and neutralise your brain … Listening: Porcupine Tree, Textures, Floyd, Jarre, Dream Theater, Conception, Foo’s, Fear Factory, Chicane, Faith No More, Abba, Machine Head, Limp Bizkit, Norma Jean, Deftones, Slipknot. She changes every time you look, by summer it was all gone - now she's moved on… Inspiration: Patton, Wilson, Waters, Satriani, Moore, Jarre. Hell, I learned a whole set of Pink Floyd songs in a week! I’ve lived with him, almost slept in the same bed with him, and breathed in vast quantities of his second hand smoke. I didn’t say it was all good. Although, to top it all, he did introduce me to Porcupine Tree!
