WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY..........

The Intake, Mansfield - Feb 2008
Hi Dave and the gang,
Just a big big thank you for last nights gig (09 Feb2008). Joy hasn't shut
up about it yet, for
me and the fantastic crowd that saw you, it was
possibly one of the best gigs and bands that have graced the Intake Stage. I
was especially impressed by your attention to detail in capturing the Floyd
sound and mannerism's and even more impressed by your expert musicianship. I
know that everyone who came to the gig had a wicked time and I'm sure that
they'll all be coming back with loads more mates in July. Keep up the good
work guys,

PS...wheres our t-shirts lol

See ya real soon

Mereway College - November 2007
Fantastic night at community college
I have just spent a fantastic evening at my local school, Mereway Community College, where students and staff have produced a great show featuring Breathe, the outstanding local Pink Floyd tribute band.
Under the guidance of Deb Thompson and Nick Webb, the Mereway students were exceptional. From the meeters and greeters who directed me to the car park, welcomed me to the school and wished me pleasant evening, to the lighting engineers, backstage staff and those serving refreshments (who looked very like the meeters and greeters), they combined to make a very pleasant and enjoyable evening.
As one of the last concerts to be staged before the theatre is demolished in favour of a new one, twice the size, I felt privileged to have been invited to witness what enthusiastic students and dedicated staff can achieve.
The tribute band Breathe did not let us down, with a full performance of The Wall and a second half of Dark Side of the Moon displaying their incredible musical talent.
Please let it be known, there is soon to be a new theatre in town, one the students and teachers of Mereway Community College will be rightly proud of.

Hi Torpoint!!

Information received suggests that Breathe's commercial team are now aware of an allegation; a seemingly minor transgression currently under investigation which claims the admittance of individuals to a NightClub in Torpoint after having had, in the words of a spokesman had, " yeeah, a boo-diddly blindin gigaroonee'.... erm, same again thanks, yes it's gonna be expensive, but I don't do numbers larger than 4, any more than that is firmly in the hands of the supreme being. He's over there talking to the bird with the big boots."; reports also suggest the sporting of innapropriate footwear & an alleged slur concerning Liverpool, justice and........ spittle!
Further infomation soon

Walk In The Park Festival, Wootton, Northampton, 7th July 2007
Breathe brought the magic of Pink Floyd to this growing annual event, which also had the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on the bill. As the sun set on this semi-suburban park, the band treated around 3,000 members of the public to a flawless rendition of Dark Side of the Moon with See Emily Play as the encore, the quality of the performance complemented by the quality of the production. The organisers of the festival are ecstatic, and grateful for the professionalism shown not only in the music played, but also by the band's general manner.
Dave McClellan - Walk In The Park Festival 2007

Sheldon Marquee June 2007:

Went to the gig on the 16/06/07 and was taken aback as to how well you
performed. Floyd music is not easy to reproduce . Never saw Floyd themselves
, but always been a big fan. The echoes C.D. is always in my car. Once again
thanks for a wonderful evening, as good as many top professional bands.

keep up the work . Hope you comeback to Brum soon. will definitely be there.

From Paul of Kite Promotions: Saturday 16th was  Breathe, I have never seen such an accurate tribute to the Pink Floyd (not even the Australian Pink Floyd, and that's saying something). Lead vocals were spot on, musically spot on, harmonies spot on, but the icing on the cake was Jill Palmers incredible rendition of the Great Gig in the Sky, it sent a shiver through me, AND she played saxaphone. There are EIGHT people in this band, and a more professional group of musicians you will struggle to find.

Faringdon Junior School June 2007:

A message from the promoter:

'Breathe' yet again stunned their growing following in Faringdon ( 30% up on last year) with another beguiling and sublime performance. Their musicianship was equally matched by the superb sound and lighting. I was pleased to hear a few older tracks in the set 'See Emily play' and 'Echoes'.

The bands dedication and preparation was most evident with the way they jointly worked with the Faringdon Junior School Choir who joined them for 'Another brick in the wall'. One parent afterwards said 'that sound and those children - chilling very chilling'.
If you haven't booked the band yet - do so.

Farnfest June 2007:

heyhey its jo - the girl who was filming you at farnfest!! just wanted to say fantastic set you where brill and that was such a good end to the weekend. hopefully see you again soon xxxxxxx

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant, is all I can say about your performance on Sunday night at the Woodman.
Thank you so much for supporting our little festival, hope you enjoyed yourselves too.
Shine on guys and gals

Well I think I am suffering from a loss of words when I try to describe your show.
Sunday nite at Farnfest will live on for a long while.
Stunning, wonderful, beautiful music, so much talent & class. You guys n gals were the perfect ending for a weekend of fun and laughter and great music.

After Brewery Tap, Oulton Broad MARCH 3rd 2007:

Hi
Just writing you all to thank you for the wonderful show you did for us at the Brewery last Saturday.

It was incredible, it sent several shivers down my spine. I've been a Floyd fan for 30 odd years and have never seen them play, but your performances collectively and individually were wonderful. The sound quality especially in the bass regions was stunning.

The songs were brought to life with such colour and passion it was almost religious!

To hear Echoes played live was amazing, Dark side,... the Great Gig...WOW, the vocal performance was beyond words, words fail I was that affected.

Thankyou, please come back soon. I wish you all success.

Ian.

Rochdale - October 2006:

Hi Guys,

We had a night off last night to come to Rochdale and see your show, and were very impressed with the effort that you have put into your music.  (Sorry from Rochdale about the traffic!!)  Thanks for some great music superbly played and sang.
Ironically Angie www.angielaine.co.uk is playing the Transport Club today Saturday 14th and performs Comfortably Numb in her set, we were wondering if you could produce a backing track for Arnold Layne as there doesn't appear to be one in available anywhere and we need to expand the Floyd content of our show.

Best Regards

David & Angie

Faringdon - Sept 2006:

"Breathe"
literally took our breath away. Their attention to detail was superb beginning with a quasi-theatrical interpretation of 'The Wall' (with a nod to the film version). The set up of the band, two keyboards two guitarist and two drummers, ensured no detail was left out.

As Jill mentally and physically prepared for the ‘Great gig in the sky’ (almost like watching an Olympic athlete waiting at the starting blocks) someone was heard to say ‘well this will be the test’.  Three standing ovations later and the hairs standing up on the back of my neck are a testament to the highlight to the evening – I hope the band have her well insured.
As Pete the singer rounded off the evening by introducing the band in the middle of ‘Comfortable numb’ it was interesting to see the two guitarists (Andy and Doug) discuss who was going to play the final guitar lead – no egos there ‘Its you – not its your turn – are you sure- oh Ok then’.
For those who now wish they were there you will be pleased to read that preparations are underway to bring the band back and hopefully a bigger show with lasers and possibly school kids helping out on ‘Another Brick’.
Next time there will be standing room only.

Oxford September 2006:

Great gig (no pun intended) last night in Oxford, now recommending you to friends!
Thanks again

Saw you at the Stratford gig and you were brilliant. Came to the Nuneaton show and you were even better. I brought 6 more people along and they all enjoyed the show. You have perfected the skill and musicianship of Pink Floyd to a fine art. Keep up the good work.

Re: Nuneaton Show
Went to your show last night in Nuneaton, first live act I’ve been to for about 15 years.  I enjoyed your performance more than any other I’ve ever been to, by a long long way.

Saturday in Kenilworth
Hi All,
Thought we'd send you a quick note thanking you all for a fantastic night on Saturday.  We were absolutely in awe of the skill of your band.....shut your eyes and we were at a Floyd concert.  That lady singer of yours absolutely blew the socks off everyone, when she did that solo piece.  All the members of the band were incredibly skilled.  Fantastic night.
Anyway..thanks once again for a truly memorable night.
Regards

"Thanks from Kenilworth"
Hi Guys, You were fantastic last night at the Talisman...
I had never been to see a 'tribute' band before, but yours works so well
because it is the music that is important; there are no individual 'stars'
to mimic.  Your musical rendition is fantastic, and is obviously the result
of painstaking attention to detail combined with the highest technical
quality of musicianship.
Good luck to you all; you deserve 'sell out' crowds wherever you perform.
Thanks again for a great night

Cliff Sun 4th Dec 2005

As good as it gets!
NB This was prior to name change & the Band was called Out the Flesh
I have seen the immaculate OTF twice this year and can't wait to see them again they are so good.

Having seen Pink Floyd live (albeit many years ago) I was astounded that I could see something nearly as good at my 'local'. They bring their own lightshow and can reproduce all the Floydian 'hits' as faithfully as the true fans that they are can do.
The vocal skills of their lady singer are amazing especially when they do 'Great Gig in the Sky'. Plus she plays a mean sax too!
If ever you see them at a venue near you go see them - I guarantee you will not be disappointed
.

Royzee, Thu 18th Aug 05 2005

We came on Sat 4th Dec not really knowing what to expect. What we got was a fantastic show, absolutely brilliant evening. Recommend to anyone who is a Pink Floyd fan not to miss this. We can't wait to see them again!!

Regards Will and Tina

Shut your eyes and you are Pink Floyd. Nothing pink floating above???

Mick

Great show last night guys it actually sounded like it was the real Pink Floyd. It was nice to meet you after the show i hope to see you next time.
