Breathe members hold a joint philosophy when it comes to the future development of our modest offering:

The music first created by Floyd will continue to endure long after we have all gracefully made our final curtain-call, of that we are all certain; Breathe, whilst we have the ability, will single-mindedly focus upon recreating that music as accurately & passionately as we are able. We will not compromise this music for the sake of ego. We aim to be more of a "Celebration" than a "Tribute" to Pink Floyd .

Inevitably there will be times when the players in Breathe may face choices or have choices thrust upon them with the result that they are unable to make a particular committment, this has and will always be the case in such an enterprise.

We are delighted when we see familiar faces at gigs - much respect goes to you, the stalwart supporters, who have followed us & witnessed the show develop since August 2004 - we are even more delighted when we get the opportunity to share your thoughts. Overwhelmingly you tell us that you believe that the changes that have occurred have been POSITIVE.

Secure in our belief that change is to be embraced & is also inevitable we also have a duty to ensure that we are able to meet future demands, the hard work that has been done means that the show is now firmly established & demand for our act is speeding up like the Beats per minute of a drummer using chemicals in the middle eight of the last number of the encore! We accept the challenge that: "The Show must go On" & we take the gravity of "making committments" very seriously.

MUSICIANS:

Hopefully a general forage around this website will give you a fair understanding about our aims, ambitions & the standard of player that would "fit" with the Breathe "mix".
If you have a genuine passion for the music & have mastered an instrument that features in the arrangements we would like to hear from you on the basis that you may be exacltly the sort of person who could join us in the future.

In return - & in all candidness we can't really offer a fat lot in terms of a return committment at this stage - all we can confirm is that we will treat any personal information sent to us as strictly private & confidential & that we will contact all the people who have registered an interest in playing with Breathe before going public & recruiting/auditioning should we find ourselves needing either a replacement performer or a "dep".

In terms of logistics we would be particularly pleased to hear from people who are, at the very least, currently free (or shortly to be free) from any custodial sentence & residing less than 2 days camel ride from Northampton, UK. (OK, any portion of the Northern Hemisphere would do)
